Seeing Attica
The past year I’ve been suffering with sciatica. The good thing it didn’t stop me from skating 900 miles in 2025. I was at first worried about training and would it cause some kind of damage. Now I’ve been leaning in to skating and biking. In a way the lower back pain makes me work out harder, to replace the pain with cathartic aerobic exercise. It manifests in a sharp pain in my right buttock and inflammation all around the hip. Step one in the process was six weeks of physical therapy of stretching and excersices. Some were so subtle an minimal that I couldn’t imagine they would do any good. Next is (after 2 months to get into a spine specialist) is probably going to be an MRI and maybe they’ll finally give me some cortisone or something. If that doesn’t work, I heard you can go to Thailand and lose the legs, and get a universal joint as a hip. It’s adaptable to Razer scooters, 4-wheelers, and jet skis. $40k and done. They freeze the legs in case you want them re-attached.
